Soggy bottom pizza! Help required please

We used to throw 'soggy bottomed' pizzas onto the bottom of the oven in the restaurant I used to work in, would it go on the rack without a tray under it?
Over topped pizzas don't cook! Always used to get people wanting extra this, this and this, never did it as it wouldn't cook properly. Especialy bad if using meats on it as they don't reheat properly.One day I might be more organised...........

If I'm using lot of toppings I cook the base for 5 minutes on it's own first then add the topping. Make your sauce as thick as possible and only put it on at the last minute.
