Thank you for your amazing suggestions, will be looking.
I thought about having a look at Ebay.. there are shops that custom make the dress but for me I think I would have to try the dresses on but some of the stuff they sell online are FANTASTIC!0 -
My vote would be for eBay as well. I have to go to formal dinners etc for work and get no help at all with the cost of evening dresses so have bought from eBay many times with great success. Got a fab Coast dress just this week for our Christmas do for only £22, originally £150. The best bit is that I wear the dresses and then re-sell them. Only once have I sold for less than I bought the dress - cheaper than hire! Best of luck and you do have to wade through an awful lot of dresses sometimes to find the right one but well worth it.0

I can 2nd this my sister got married in May and got her bridesmaid dresses on there for £60 each and they were really niceSam0 -
I have bought my wedding dress in BHS and it was lovely. Simple but very elegante. It only cost me £90 and there were lots of bridesmaid dresses there which where lovely and even cheaper. I bought it in May so I don't know wether they will have stock again before your sister's wedding. But I really recommend you to have a look there.
Good luck
Goal: Win a car (or cash to buy one
)! -- Haha goal from when I was a student. Never actually won this but got a good job instead.
What I achieved:
Car paid in full straightaway.
Two properties fully paid. Wohhoooo!0 -
I'd go down the ebay route. Just bought 2 brand new evening dresses with tags. Both under £35. One was originally £199 and the other probably around £300 (both 100% silk). Both from Jaeger and I love Jaeger, but only in the sale or via ebay!I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100
