this question could be better phrased but what do you have to do with the buddah? do you have to put it in a special place in the house, rub his tummy? etc

Well, he was in my bag in bubble wrap when I found the tenner!

I think you can put them anywhere in the house, but they have to be high up (out of respect) - I've got a shelf I'm going to put him on. And you have to rub his tummy every day while making a wish. You should never pat him on the head though. Mine's a laughing :rotfl: buddha and his smile is infectious. He's cheered my day up no end so far!

Well, I needed suntan lotion for my children. So I went to boots for two for the price of one. £9.99. Good make but daughter had allergic reaction to it and my car is in the garage. Taxi to a&e £19.00. Many hours in a&e to get swelling down. Trip to chemist on way home for more aqueous calemine lotion. Trip to newsagent as thought she deserved icecream and comic £3.92. She's still puffy and itchy but she's home and feeling well enough to order me around (aged 7). At least she's ok. I NEED a glass of wine, i don't want, I NEED it - £4.99.

Not a bad day today for a Saturday

grocery shopping £12 inc wine yippee!

But then - wanted to vaccum the car so had to shell out for a huge extension as its miles to the street from the house & some pegs to hang the washing out £2 inc basket

then found out the washing line was all corroded (well it did come with the house and was the first time I'd used it - so had to shell out £20 for a new line, spike & cover.

Feel good though as I havent 'wasted' anything like I would have a few weeks ago.

  • Have only bought 2 copies of the Sun (cos I read on here about the free meal offer at Yates / Hogshead / Litten Tree in todays paper) - Mr Pincher keeps complaining that I never take him out so is only costing me £1 for 2 meals - I will get him to buy the drinks :j

You know how on shows like House of Tiny Tearaways and Supernanny they have a chart for the children with smiley faces when they are good and black crosses when they are bad?? Well last week I started a mini chart to mark spend and no spend days! It's a bit silly but it is motivating me to hopefully get less crosses and more ticks this week :rotfl:

Lol what a good idea. We have a chart from the supernanny magasine, but don't have crosses on instead the items (we have an airoplane and a butterfly go up and down when the children are good/bad. When they get to the top they get a treat. Maybe i could do something like that!
