I have spent nothing. I got a free bunch of freshly dug carrotts that my dad got given
So can have them tomorrow for lunch yummy.
Husband has bought some sucky sweets as I have a sore throat. Typical start a two week job trial on monday. He had jelly babies.
But I might have to send him out for ice cream for my throat in a minute as it is just so sore :rotfl:

Well, I needed suntan lotion for my children. So I went to boots for two for the price of one. £9.99. Good make but daughter had allergic reaction to it and my car is in the garage. Taxi to a&e £19.00. Many hours in a&e to get swelling down. Trip to chemist on way home for more aqueous calemine lotion. Trip to newsagent as thought she deserved icecream and comic £3.92. She's still puffy and itchy but she's home and feeling well enough to order me around (aged 7). At least she's ok. I NEED a glass of wine, i don't want, I NEED it - £4.99.January budget

Went for a walk into Chinatown to buy a Buddha for prosperity.
Popped into one of the supermarkets and bought two tins of asparagus for 80p each (bargain! I love asparagus but the price always puts me off - it's usually around £2 a can!) and 20 green teabags for 50p (supposed to aid weightloss!).
Bought my prosperity Buddha for £3.50 and then found a tenner in the street outside.
Nice profit and a nice day's work! Thanks, Buddha! :T:eek: What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -

Did'nt go out today, just pottered about here as you do...:p and not a single penny spent - how wonderful is that...:D
Well...the postman delivered a small package this morning and inside it was two freebie energy saving light bulbs from British Gas. The bulbs are 60 watt equivalent sized ones but I have no idea why a gas compnay would send them to me. So one will go in the front porch area and the other in the hallway - wey hey...
