No drop down menu for me...
It just displays the username, password, and security question box.0 -
No drop down list for me either.0

Oh dear, I don't like the sound of this. I was using the link from my favourites, so I tried following a link from Google for the login page and it does the same thing. Whe i click login, it gives the usual three lines but before I can type anything the dropdown list goew from three questions to about 10 of the including credit card (which I don't have), d.o.b. and MMN ?0

Go to the official bank website and login. You should have no problems then.
I got my HBOS online banking page bookmarked, and didn't have the drop down menus.0 -
Hi, I thought I was on the official website but am wondering now about spyware. Yesterday Adaware moved a trojan to the vault and this morning when I turned on the computer it removed another trojan. I now remember having to log into sites that I had not logged out of. I have a scan running now but am concerned in case any informtion has already been taken.0

If you entered any passwords you might want to get them changed ASAP. BoS say "If you are concerned that you may have disclosed any personal or security details pleasecall our helpdesk immediately on 0845 306 0020"
PS: I would want more than just Adaware for protection, i.e a full suite including file scanning, web page scanning, and firewall.0 -
The URL should be:
https://www.bankofscotlandhalifax-online.co.uk/_mem_bin/formslogin.asp
Anything else is a mirror site.
Check especially for the 'https' prefix and padlock, scam sites are unlikely to go to the trouble of security encryption / certificates.

Hi, Thanks everyone. Sorry Doug, I meant AVG not adaware. I am getting frazzled now and got mixed up. Hi underground, I was watching the https prefix and it it there. I followed your link and I get the big list. I have just done a thorough 3 hour scan and it only shows up some tracking cookies. I am going to try an login from another computer and see if that helps so that I can hopefully change some passwords just in case.0
