I do the same as TiredMum and it works a treatMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

Another thing that works is a rubber band - thread it through the hole in the zipper tab then loop both ends over the button and fasten the button."Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." ~ Vivian Greene0

Zip them up and the spray hair spray down the length of the zip
But since this thread is 2 years old I hope she found a way to make the zip stay closed

This happened to one of my pairs of jeans. I used a paperclip and wrapped one end round and round the button and made a hook from the other end which I hooked through the hold in the zip puller to keep it up!0

Don't worry, Ladyhawk, you're not cracking up - it was resurrected by a spammer advertising a product to fix dodgy zips, but someone's obviously reported the post as it's vanished now. :T
The reappearance of this thread is certainly helpful, though - I'm having this problem with one of my pairs of jeans and I've now got some ideas of how to fix it.Back after a very long break!0 -
In an emergency, roll up a tiny bit of tissue and place it near the top of the zip, then zip over it. A temporary but useful solution."It's official, MSE's harbouring total fruitcakes">^..^<0
