Thank you for the advice, i had a look at some examples of the forms you have to fill, should i withdraw all money from my new bank accounts including money i made on my car sale until the OR asks for it?0

The forms look very scarey at first, they are not that bad , as previously said it is the getting all the info that is the pain lol and once you get started it will be done in no time,it just looks like such a chunk of paper! I printed off two sets and did a rough one then when I had asked all my questions and was sure it was okay filled out the new set.
I got lots of help and info from lovely people here as well as national debtline , and they get checked over at the court too and can be adjusted.0 -
Hi Inamess
Re; your car question. We also sold our car to raise money for br fees and to buy a cheaper alternative. We've opened a cashminder account and the money for our bankruptcy fees plus what's left over from the sale of our old car (after we taxed the new one) is sat in there.
Our old car wasn't worth anywhere near £6k like yours, so there isn't as much as you've got to offer the OR but that's what we intend to do - if they ask about what's left over from the proceeds at interview, which in our case is about £300, we'll tell them and then I assume if they have an interest in it, pay it via standing order.

Hi well there isn't much left out of the 6K i got for my car now cos ive used it for getting a cheaper car which was about £1800 and also have furnished the flat i am now in, i have started off with no furniture or anything because i was at my parents, i have kept receipts for all i have bought though, i think i will have about 1K left for the OR, i also used some of the money for paying the months rent in advance, deposit and admin fees for the flat which came to over a grand!0
