How Long Left

Anyone on here with experience of watching a new build go up?

House I am buying is currently under construction. As of yesterday they had completed all the floor work. Pipes in, fully concreted and all earth put to the level where the "house" starts. So it should now be a case of the brick work starting properly.

The builder is confident that the roof will be on by Christmas. (the plot is 2 3 bed houses, but they are also building a plot of 3 x 2 bed house and a plot of 2 x 3b and 2 x 2b). So is this a realistic build time?

Hopefully I will be in by Feb/March......watching a house go up can't half be frustrating at times

We're currently watching our new build go up too, also due for completion around March time! :)

I'd say it depends on how many teams of bricklayers etc are working. They started building on this development slow and steady, then hired in some more brick layers and the houses are flying up now!

I can't resist driving past the development at least once a week to see how the house is coming along, I can't help myself!! :D
