I have recently had the same problem. I am with hydro and was being charged a pound an hour for two heaters. After numerous calls I finally got through to somebody who could help. They sent a message to the meter to calculate how much I was using compared to how much I was being charged and there is a fault. Am not receiving a cheque for the difference and the meter is being replaced.0 -

So they aren't refunding you the excess then, just changing the meter?
fedup100pc photocopy the receipts, add up the amount and send a letter by recorded delivery stating that the total amount on the reciepts must be deducted from your debt, or you will take the matter further.0
