A bedsit would fit that criteria too

I've lived in a flat with a kitchen that was (at least in terms of area) slightly smaller - though layout was a bit more sensible. Actually got used to having everything in arm's reach. You can cook quite effectively in a small space (did plenty of roasts etc) if you put your mind to it

Cute. I love the concept of a one bedroom house instead of being crammed into a flat with no outside space. I'm a terrible gardener - a decked courtyard garden is fine for me to hang out washing and eat out in fine weather.
Looks a decent enough refurb. Shame there's no piccy of the upper bedroom or courtyard.
I wonder why they didn't fit slimmer cupboards with a narrower worktop, perhaps the standard depth of a cooker made this unworkable.
There's another view of the kitchen here.

Converted from old coal house and outside loo maybe? When we moved to our house we had a similar run of outbuildings (unconverted), we just demolished them as they were on the sunny side of the back yard in summer.
We grow tomatoes there now.

They should put a wall down the middle and make an extra bedroom with that space.0
