bank of ireland credit card app

hi,

hubby applied to bank of ireland for credit card today.

after completing application the final screen said thank you for applying, you will recieve your printed copy of your credit agreement in the post witin the next few days with further instructions.

it didnt have the usual yes/no or we will let you know screen does this mean he has been accepted?/ anyone applied recently who as experience of bank of ireland??

    No - they do not give instant decisions.

    They will send forms only if he's been accepted, so wait and see what comes in the post. If he gets the agreement, remember they do further checks upon return of that and it can take several weeks to sort out.
