Perhaps we need to start a new thread along the lines of NTL users CAN get onto ebay now as it will be more of a novelty than when we can get on to it!

What did the earlier poster mean when they said that at least NTL are acknowledging that they have problems tonight? Any one know?
When you phone the broadband helpline (10p per min!!!!) an automated message is saying they are aware users are having browser and website acess problems.

  • Yup haven't been able to access ebay for most of today, and I to either have items ending I'm wanting to bid on, or items ending I'm wanting other people to bid on, it's bloody annoying and I'm on NTL too!!

Going over to Primus I think. Put my notice in with NTL now, I've had it with them.
  • Orange are offering free unlimited broadband to existing customers..... Just thought I'd mention it. Ebay working fine with AOL

I think the site is having problems and it is not the service provider,

Virgin and tesco broadband use Ntl as their provider, that is why you are having problems

I was having terrible trouble this morning. I turned the whole thing off including the modem. Waited a couple of minutes, turned the modem back on and waited until is had stopped flashing lights at me and then turned the computer back on.

It's been whizzing along ever since.

I hope this works for you.
