Having problems with clickandbuy

Hi, I won a small prize from triviala some time ago and opened a clickandbuy account to receive payment. However recently I have tried to withdraw the money, but then been told to phone their customer services on 020 7153 9161.
I have been phoning this number since friday and I ALWAYS get the message stating that all the advisors are busy.
The account now shows my balance at 0.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do because I'm a bit worried that after 7 days they may say that I have not contacted them to claim the money or something. After this hassle I would rather spend the money that was in my account on entering competitions or something.
Are they legit. Has anyone else managed to withdraw to a bank account successfully?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
(I hope this is in the correct forum)

So you're letting them rip you off twice?
How much was your win? You might be better just writing it off.0 -

I've withdrawn from Click and Buy before, but you do have to phone them to confirm the withdrawal each time. I've been put on hold a few times before but have never had to wait too long.
It can be frustrating but they are legit.0 -
I phoned Click and Buy when I wanted to withdraw money. It was possibly early morning when I phoned, and I don't remember any problems getting through. The money was paid into my bank account with no problem.
However, the person I spoke to said that when I needed to make a second withdrawal, I would need to send through the post a couple of items proving identity. I think that one of these had to be a bank statement copy. Also, I would be charged £1.50 for withdrawing.
Not impressed!
However, the good news is that Triviali will now pay into your Paypal account. Have had another £15 win from them and chose this method of payment.
I would advise trying to phone Click and Buy early in the day, and hopefully, you should get through.
Good luck0 -
I don't withdraw from Click and Buy usually, usually transfer the money into my Betfair account, being free to do!0

This company are scammers. This is the sort of company that uses the law to rip you off by putting things in their "terms and conditions", (that lets face it, unless you have time to waste on your hands reading pages and pages of boring minute text that you wont understand anyway).
I purchased a game from Itunes for 0.59p, i have used them for 2 years and purchased a lot through them and they have always been able to get their money with no problems, on this occasion my bank had charged be incorrect charges of £75 which took me over my limit, i rang my bank and they immediately rectified it and put the money back into my account, this was for about 2 hours where my account was in deficit. In this 2 hours, Click and Buy decided to try to take the 0.59p and the bank declined it, so click and Buy rather that try again, they added a £25 fee and took it without authorisation from my account. I wrote to them to tell them of my disgust but they sent me a patronising and threatening email back, stating their terms and conditions and started to tell me my account was in arrears (which by arrears they mean there was a further purchase on my account, not in arrears, they have had all money owing to them plus their 0.59p fee)and all of their accounts in arrears would be sent to a collections agency, (what for 59p)!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is triviali worth the subscription? You would have to win £234 per year to break even without any paypal / click and buy etc charges incurredStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0

I don't use click and buy. I joined them to buy something from itunes, because I thought I had to. They took money from my credit card without telling me - not just the amount they say they'll take. When I found the account credit -- my money! -- they would not let me withdraw it, then, I could not use it with their so-called partners, as they did not work with click and buy any more.
They don't do email support, I had to phone too, I did get to speak to their "support" but just got told a load of rubbish.
Finally I got an email address for them and spammed them with accusing emails, telling them they were thieves.
Result! - they gave me my money back.
Anyway, I agree with nosey, don't use them.
Triviala has a sub now? I've always played free, and won several times.0 -
