Not being billed for power
Hi,
I moved back into my own house 2 years ago after letting it out while I was working away. The gas meter was on pre-pay so I phoned Transco to get a monthly one installed. Trouble is now, I have not been billed for 2 years and am starting to get a bit nervous about it. I am on a DMP and haven't got 2 year's of gas money saved away.
Can any of you offer any advice? What are the possible outcomes, where do I stand, etc.
Thanks in advance.

DMP?
Monthly meter? Do you mean a credit meter?
Why Transco?
Who fitted the new meter?
Who is your utility company(i.e.) who supplies the gas?
What about electricity?
Did you tell them you had moved back in to your own house?0 -
transco would of done the work for a third party, you would still of had a supplier0

DMP - Debt Management Plan
Monthly meter, yes, credit meter.
Transco because my supplier wouldn't fit a credit meter until I had been with them for 3 months, even though my electric meter was a credit one. So I just phoned the infrastructure people (Transco) direct as it was crippling me paying on the token one.
Same supplier as my electric (Utilita)
Yes, I told them it was my house.

On a Debt Management Plan you usually agree not to accrue any further debt, you also budget for essentials such as energy before your debt repayments are decided. Therefore if you have not been paying for gas but have been budgeting for it you should have the money in a savings account.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I really do take your point but this was just before I went onto the DMP and completely (and genuinely) forgot all about the gas issue as I had so many other debts to worry about.0 -
the only way you could of got the credit meter was if you paid for it, national grid dont just fit them on a consumers say so0
