Abbey Reclaiming

I sent a letter off to them asking for statements back in begining of Sept 09. I received one set of statments really quickly, but I have not heard a thing since.

Abbey are now really close to the 40 day deadline....Nearly at IC stage....

In everyone's experience with reclaiming from Abbey, how long do they take to send you 6yrs worth of statments?

Under the FSA waiver on bank charges they should be going back to July 2001 but I would contact them and ask them where the rest of them are since they do send them in two batches and are very close to being out of time.

Well the deadline is today and suprise, suprise nothing has arrived apart from the first batch....

The last customer service agent told me to go to my local branch and ask where the statments are...Is this going to be a waste of time?

Or

Should I just report them to the IC anyway?

I've only just read this on the consumer forum under abbey national sars. The poster telephoned this number 01908344061 and received everything. Hope it helps.

I sent off for statements in August, I've heard nothing.

I have reported them.

I telephoned Abbey yesterday on the above number, they told me that all my statements were sent on 17th Sept 09!!! I promptly told them they I did not receive these, so the very nice lady on the other end of the phone apologised and said she wil request these again and mark them as Urgent...She also said that I will have to wait 7-10 days to get them...
