  • Today I have had a slip up.... I bought a lovely lip gloss that I totally didn't need, and 9 tubes of hair gel (half price at work then my 15% discount on top!) for OH.... I'm counting the lip gloss as the slip up, and the hair gel as a stock up :D

N'mind Sar, you've been so well behaved in this for an age now.

The only thing I plan to buy is my favourite mascara from prescriptives as the company is closing down in Jan and will buy 2 off ebay to keep in stock as it is my absolute fave. Not too worried as I use mascara daily and will use it

Woohoo, have finally used up one of my many perfumes, only taken about six months! Bought two shower gels but were only 99p each and I needed some, have decided only buying when I get down to needing something and even then only buying two max! Also finished a handbag size hairspray and again bought a new one last week. Saving me a fortune this challenge.

  • Another couple of items used up now - a Prescriptives Calyx fragrance bought in April and used almost daily so lasted well. Won't repurchase as the fragrance was nice but not bothered about it again. Also a Natural Coco De Mer Bath Foam 250ml from Boots which also prob won't repurchase until have used up the rest of the bath products that remain

Onwards and upwards we all go, talked myself out of buying the boots oow FCUK overnight bag as me and my friend said we were just buying it for the sake of it being reduced which is exactly right. Don't want it now which is good and will stay out of Boots until the New Year to keep out of the way of things1

  • Sarah... the hairgel is definitely a stock up, and if you got it that cheap then it also counts as MSE! As for the lip gloss, I wouldn't worry xx

I'm still doing well. Thought we might have had to fall back on cc last week when we made an amendment on OH's car ins but no change thankfully. Our own fault for having no savings to fall back on:o. I'm hoping to start saving once this blummin cc has been cleared.
How many days in to the challenge are we, i've totally lost track:rolleyes:

  • I know I'm a bit late to the party but can I join this please? I want to stop buying toiletries, cosmetics and magazines and to start taking my own lunch to uni and work. Thanks!

Ooh, this is a BRILLIANT idea! :D

There are SOO many things I could do this for, but I think that it will have to start with bringing my own lunch to work. I'll add more things as I go.

    Thanks! :D:D
