Levelling a concrete floor for the kitchen

yes alan, thats correct - it is a bulk leveller. the k15B is for the main levelling and then K15 to finish it off (smoothing i think its called?)
thanks... im off bucket shopping!! I thought I told you that Vee won't stop... :cool:0 -
hi folks... the levelling is going pretty good! i've levelled out the bulk of the floor with more or less just the final K15 skim to go.
slight query before i proceed though: i have a tiled floor in the dining room next to the kitchen (that i am currently levelling) - these existing tiles are all level, etc. - i am going to tile the kitchen in the same tiles and was wondering how many mm should i leave for the cement based (powdered type) adhesive layer?
I have placed a tile next to my dining room tile layer and was thinkin of around 3-5mm roughly? is this about right? thanks... I thought I told you that Vee won't stop... :cool:0 -
3-5mm allowance should be fine, if anything err on the slightly low side, it's easier to raise a tile slightly than lower it!0

***update*** the floor is levelled, the tiling has been done and grouted too... just the kitchen units to install over the next week or so!
If any one wants photos of the progress so far, give me a private message with your email address and ill mail some over to you. Cheers. I thought I told you that Vee won't stop... :cool:0
