When to expect surveyor

Hello
Accepted an offer on our house just over two weeks ago, and just wondered when to expect the survey. No word of it yet - eek. Also, what does the surveyor look for (it's an '80s house)?
Thanks!

Are your buyers arranging the survey themself or letting their lender do it for them? I let my lender arrange the survey for me and it was about 2 and a half weeks before they came back to me with some quotes. Once they did and I selected one the survey was booked for a couple of days after that.0

You could ask your Estate Agent to chase this up for you. Don't leave it too long (assuming you are SSTC on Rightmove. Apply a bit of polite pressure at this stage0

Chase your estate agent and conveyancing solicitor every week or your sale will go at snail's pace.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
