please deliver by monday

went to ebay this morning to sort out me parcels i needed to send and id sold another on BIN overnight. the buyer sent me a message saying 'please deliver by monday as my sister needs it for work'. it was a top and one can only presume her sister dont own a washing machine and therefore has no clean clothes left.

if i wasnt going to the PO i would have ignored this request until i missed tomorrows post out of principle of 1. assuming i log in every day, 2. no please, thankyou or kiss my arris.

what would you have done?

ive posted it because this is the only time im going to the po this week.

I would have probably said as I am going to the Post Office today your item will be posted, however there is no guarantee that it will be received by Monday for your sister to wear to work.

But then even special isn't guarenteed for saturdays so she would have had to pay for special 9am to make sure it was there first thing monday. So she was being highly expectant (if thats a word )

cheers guys. ive posted it first class which is what she paid and even did partial refund as for some reason i overcharged postage by £1.84 and not my usual £1.00. i dont know how i did that but i did it on 3 auctions.

    im too nice sometimes.
