Thanks for all the advise on PSP's!! My OH is still adamant he wants a PSP Go but I think its kinda pointless. My friend is kindly lending me her PSP so I can try it out before committing to a Go. I prefer my DS! :P

i have a hacked PSP and only use it for homebrew.

there's nothing wrong with flashing custom firmware as you own the hardware.
How do I do do this Flashing thing, I would like some FREE games.
    You live..You learn.:)
  • i googled out this site
    http://psp-download-center.com/
    hope that helps

im not sure if the psp 3000 has been hacked yet, but get a phat or a slim running BELOW custom firmware 4.01 (you can check this in system information)

then go to psp-hacks (.com) and re-flash it (nothing illegal with that)

buy a decent sized memory card

and google any game or movie ever released and your away!

    brilliant piece of kit!!

Avoid the PSP Go at all costs. It's expensive and only plays downloadable games.

Am not a huge fan of the PSP either, but some people are crazy enough to buy them. If you're interested in purely gaming, the DSi is the better bet.
