Hi there,
It's my first time posting on this forum and I just need some advice. I recently got a UK PSP console and as some of you will know the games in the UK are really expensive. I'm going on holiday to the US in a months time and I want to buy PSP games, which are quite cheap compared to UK prices but the formats are different like NTSC that's for USA and Canada. Will they still work on UK PSP consoles. I'm hoping to save some money. Thanks

Currently PSP games are not region coded so any PSP game will work on any PSP machine but the option to region code games is avaliable to developers but there is no news if it will happen
The PSP is currently region coded only for UMD movies in which they will only play on the same region player0 -
what do you mean?? Sorry I haven't had time to read the instruction booklet yet, I'm going to when I get some games to go with it.0

he means US games will work in a uk machine, that may change in the future, the movies you buy for the psp are region coded so you have to buy them here
have you tried searching kelkoo for games or buying second from the high streetNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -
Oh thanks....I don't know any stores that sell second hand games, so I'm considering Ebay. I have looked and the prices aren't that bad but some games are still quite expensive0

if you have a GAME or Gameststion near you then they sell second hand games, with the stores on the high street ie GAME they will let u trade in your games and then use that against a new gameNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

You could also try play.com as they have games from £9.99 including free delivery

Apparantly HMV also have some cheap games and UMD movies
You have to remember if you are purchasing something outside the EU from Ebay or a supplier that is over £18 it is liable for VAT duty and if customs get hold of your parcel they hold your package until you pay the charges0 -
Thanks for all the help0
