Can anyone recommend a good DVD Recorder?

Hours wise - the 320 holds 160 hours. But I clear the hard drive every day of the things Ive watched anyway.
One thing I shall have to be careful of is clicking on "record series" as you can end up with the repeats aswell I think?0 -
Bringing this thread back up, so I hope people don't mind. But I was just wondering i these Humax Hard Drives have the capability to put the stuf saved on the had drive to a dvd? So if I saved a movie from watching Freeview could I then put that onto a dvd? What cables would I need?THanks0

You cant export content from HD to DVD via Humax pvr
One some models you can export on to usb flash drive though (Transport stream) but I believe thats the older model 9200 and the newer Freesat HDR Humax do0 -

That's correct. The 9300T had a USB port, but it is not functional. On the newer builds they have deleted the USB port entirely. The older 9200T has a functional USB port.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
So anything that I would save on the hard drive, I would have to watch from that? I can't transfer it to anything else?0

Not unless you have a older Humax model or the new Humax freesat HDR which can export programs to usb
Humax still sell older A grade models0 -
I'm still waiting for something that lets you transfer a programme to a flash drive, and then to a PC for burning to DVD or whatever.
This is a step in that direction:

but I think there's some way to go yet.Stompa0 -
Sorry to bring this thread back up guys and girls.
But I was wondering if there is a product which acts as a hrad drive as well as a dvd player? My girlfriends dvd player has packed up and she also wants one of those Humax style hard drive machines. Is there something out there that people know of? Many thanks.Josh0 -
Know nothing of the Humax range but on the Sony RDR-HXD995 DVD/PVR you can watch a DVD, record to the hard drive via the digital or analogue tuner (the analogue tuner will record Sky or Virgin feeds) and move unrestricted recordings from the hard drive to a blank DVD.0
