Milton Keynes Bowl concert
FL
Hi.
I am going to a concert at the MK bowl shortly and was wondering what options people would recommend to get there? Seems a long way from the train station and it takes ages to get out of the car park. Is there someone close by it might be better to park?

MK bowl is about 1.5 miles from the station - maximum.
See the map below. If you view in Hybrid mode the bowl is the big circular thing at the bottom of the screen. The station is directly above it at the top of the screen. The footpaths are well signposted and will be busy with other concert goers.

Alternatively there is (normally) a free shuttle bus service going back and forth between the station and the bowl.

I walked from the station to the bowl (and back) last year. A lot of people do it, so it doesn't seem far. It does take a while though, so be careful to leave loads of time for catching your train.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I would definitely do the car thing - but try and find a road near the station.
I saw eminem there a couple of years ago and it took us 5 hours to even get out of the main car park.... no honestly!
We lived in Brighton so didn't get home til about 5-6 am in the end!0 -
yep i agree i went to see eminem as well and the car park was a nightmare to get out, of but i would not go there any other way than by car!0

Thanks Tracie - is that offer still good for when Robbie plays in Sept?
My lady talked me into getting a couple of tickets so we'll be facing the same journey then!0 -
if i can help anyone regarding the milton keynes bowl send me a private message, and i can expalin just how near i lived from the milton keynes bowl, surelly it would be better and cheaper parking your car on my driveway then paying the car parking prices(which are no money savers prices when there is a concert on)

Its a good 30 minute walk from the station to the Bowl. Beware on getting the trains back though, as they are absolutely packed, as will be the station platform.0
