Catching crickets

Options
I dropped a tub of crickets a couple of nights back and quite a few escaped. I hoped the cat would sort them out as she usually comes down stairs from her day of sleeping at around 10pm and has a hunt round the living room eating the odd ones that have escaped.

Today I have chirping in my living room and kitchen but I cant find them anywhere. I know you can buy special cricket traps but I wondered if anyone knew of anything that I may already own in my cupboards that might help lure them out?

Thanks.

The only thing that seems to work are the special cricket traps and they do work really well. We thought that the ones that escaped from my daughters room would eventually die but they seem to go on making their noise for weeks -and they drive you mad if some end up in your bedroom and start their chirruping when its dark.
We found they like hiding under standard lamps etc in the lounge.
