Thank you all so much.
Just another quick 'silly' question.........what do i wear in court? My hubby was gonna wear a suit but i've only got jeans! Seems silly to go out and by something smart when we're about to go bankrupt!
Also, we withdrew the excess in our bank account (not much but needed for food etc) and left in there just enough to cover few direct debits (we have already opened up a basic cash card account with barclays back in june) in the hope that we have an OR that is kind and understanding and won't freeze our account.
We have £165 left in there, do we put the full amount on our forms or half it for each of us? and likewise the £100 cash we have for food next week? Do we split this and say £50 each. God I shall be very glad when all this is over!!!0 -

We were advised to take everything out the account- cancel direct debits, and live off cash till you open a new account- reason being is t5hat you can't use the account till the OR says so.. and if you are like us, the OR interview isn't till tomorrow( shake shake!) so we needed a bank acc set up straight away for wages to be paid into. most companies will send you a giro slip to pay bills if a debit is missed one month anywaysagittarius wrote: »Thank you all so much.

jeans are fine
When i went to court last week, it was just in the Judges office, yet i still had the same worries as you- how about a smart top with jeans?

Anything you leave in the account could be taken towards money for creditors- if you know you need that money, i wouldn't risk it- and withdraw it today.
Good luck for tomorrow- I was worried sick last week.. but it was a lot better than i imagined it to be.

thanks for posts susie, i'll keep you posted to how I get on.
As for the fee finding, good luck with that! We had prior notice of hubby loosing his job so saved up since then but it really does grate that we've gotta pay £1020 over tomorrow. But not begrudging it as its a way to a means blah blah and all that positive stuff that i've gotta feel to get through this lol
