:rotfl:well it must be nice to live somewhere where there are pretty lights and shops and streets you can walk to.
There are no pretty lights where I live, its too dark to walk down the lanes on me own....kids need picking up from everywhere.....dark when I get up and dark when I go to sleep.....
its even dark in my office cos I broke the main light....:rotfl:
Yep, I pay through the nose for it but I wouldnt live anywhere else now (even anywhere else in London would be a big wrench I think). I do love it here
(shops can be bad though

I want to see the Oxford street lights now! I have promised DD's a trip to primark before xmas, our nearest one is 48 miles away and involves 2 changes on the train and will cost £17 with my friends and family card....or I can train direct into charing cross for £18....then walk along Regent street and Oxford street and see the decs...no contest really...aside from all the ruddy tourists.
I've just sat and made 10 felt cup cakes for a xmas project I'm working on...covered in pink felt fluff now..nice!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

ooo when I come to the big smoke I will be able to do the London Lights and be childfree
Actually not sure I will be child free as OH and DD may end up coming up and all of us do stuff on the sat morning. If OH could just get a job that would make Christmas for me..I wouldn't even care about any presents! I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

DD1 won a BAFTA (for kids) prize 3 years ago and got to go to a swanky hotel before the award day, they all got taken to see the Christmas lights around London and went to play on the huge carosel in Covent Garden..She said is was magical...she's been badgering me ever since to go again."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Afternoon all
It's so dark already
I'm firmly in the not liking Winter camp.

Come home to find boiler has decided to pack up (I think) so we have no heating and no hot water. Plumber is deciding to ignore his phone, so need to make a plan.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0
