  • Well i've just put the baby to bed, who's singing rather than sleeping!! Then once i've mopped the floor i'm going to have a bath, then after dinner it is time to go and get a couple of christmas presents, lucily she won't know they are the ones that Father Christmas is bringing her ;)

And i've had my first letter back in response to my DMP letter with CCCS going out to creditors, and good news they have frozen interest and all charges and accepted my payment. It was actually one of the nicest letters i've ever had from MBNA, so all the bad words i've said about them in the past, I take it back today (although i'm not promising it will last lol)

Morning all....very foggy here and just downright cold. Not much to report as am at work, but hope you all have a lovely day.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T
  • Morning all.
Was horribly foggy last night but ok this morning.
Delivered DD2 to work by 8am and drove to Loughborough for paint.
Rang the dca re M&S cc - lovely lady has at last stopped the interest and accepted SO for £1 a month.
Letter from business banking demanding instant repayment of £60k.:rotfl:
    Trying not to panic.
Off to paint DD2's kitchen in a mo.

Morning, it's grey damp & miserable here as well. All the kids have vacated the house and at work, college or school. I'm going to order some parts for the rayburn which once fitted means I can have the chimney swept and light the rayburn. I'm freezing :(
Later on when I see her, I'll be having a grumble at eldest dd who has ordered a moble for dd age 16 telling her she can pay weekly for it. Will tell her to send it back as I don't want 16yr old getting into debt, although legally it will be eldest dd.
Just started a dmp this month, so far one creditor has'nt accepted it, and one has, but not stopped intreast, but will stop any more charges.
Oh and budget has gone to pot, what with ceilings being on the floor, Rayburns with no flue and to cap it all my van had (as my 18yr old put it) an incident and an expensive one at that (ball joint fractured with no warning, damaging the shock housing. and it needs a couple of other things doing)
On the bright side, there is one :D My garage has fixed all the broken bits and delivered by van back to me and I don't need to pay for my nightmare untill next week when I get the other bits and bobs sorted.

    Morning all

Bree - Sounds like a bit of a nightmare  Hope you get some heat soon.

Bookie - They can't have what you don't have to give them. Happy painting.

Just ordered my tesco shop for tomorrow...so much easier than having to go to the shops. Sky man has been with our free sky+ box as an apology for mucking up our account...DH is now happily recording things and playing.

My free graze box has just arrived, looks fab! Have some free codes so if anyone wants a freebie box pm me for the details.

Morning familiar faces and newcomers!

Good news about MBNA confessionsofanexebtcoll (might have to abbreviate that somehow :rotfl:)!

Bookie - well just pay them it - I mean you must have it somewhere...have you checked down the sofa? In the sock drawer? :rotfl: Try not to panic. They will know you can't pay it, but will just be trying to get a response from you. Good news on M&S though.

Bree, sounds like a bit of a tricky time. DMPs do seem to be a bit of a bumpy ride in the early days but hopefully the other creditor will accept soon, and things will calm down.

I stayed up till late talking to Mr Sunday. Am a bit worried he might call round today with my photo so had better do the housework and look presentable!
