What credit card should i get?

Hello,

I need some help well actually my girlfriend does! She wants a credit card but doesn't know what one to get? she's 18 and is always in her overdraft... what card would she be accepted for?

The usual advice for the first credit card is to apply to the bank she has her current account with.

Does she have a clear understanding what she needs a credit card for? For a weak-willed person that is 'always in her overdraft' a credit card is more than likely to be a way of slipping deeper into a new expensive debt that finaly will be very difficult to manage.
