Carphone Warehouse Miss Selling

So, within a day of registering with what I hoped would be a useful resource to post objections to questionable retail practices, namely by Carphone Warehouse, I have my post removed by the charming Gardianators of this site.
Thanks to those posters who agreed that anyone knowingly miss selling anything should be named on this site, however the powerless that be consider this not to be cricket and in one swift action of their boney fingers removed all posts concering the topic I raised.
A person at Carphone Warehouse on Briggate in Leeds, who's name I wil neither type, speak of or sing again tried to sell my wife a home phone and broadband package when she went instore to upgrade her mobile phone contract (as she had come to the end of her 7th year with them).
Anyway as perviously stated my wife declined the offer of said package on 3 occasions siting A: we are happy with our current providers and B: her husband (me) takes care of any dealings like this. To this the person in question offered my wife a 'voucher' highlighting all the benefit of the package he was trying to force on her (we know now the voucher to be nothing more than a load of brochures), hasseled, daughter hanging off one arm and late for her next appointment my wife said to the clearly stupid and more than likley deaf staff member just to give her the informaiton to show me (her husband) and IF we were interested we would take up the offer, as quoted, within the 14 day period, as quoted. She was aksed to initial the points he had gone over (completely lied about) and sign to say she was aware the offer only lasted for 14 days.
For those of you new to this post when I got home I knew it was a contract and she had been conned.
CPW's customer support stretches to "our staff memebers would never do anything like this" "she signed it and she should have read it"
Can one not trust a high street chain any more to the extend you belive what you are being told by the sales person.
After speaking to Trading Standards they advise there is no way we can claim back the cost of the 8 phone calls to have this service we did want, cancelled as my wife had signed a contract (not withstanding the fact this was fraudelently sold to her)
HOWEVER talks this evening with the Information Commissioner are evry promising as when my wife was duped into signing the contract they lifted her personal bank details from information held on her mobile phone account and transposed them onto the fraudulent contract. This is BAD NEWS for CWP and hopefully they will be brough to question over the next week or so.
Then, Mr Guardianotor who likes to have my posts removed I will gladly name and shame the staff member as he will have been proved guilty by an independant body.
I would advise anyone going to CWP in Leeds on Briggate to read very, very carefully any information they are given or anything they are asked to sign, REGARDLESS of what staff tell you.........

I hope Miss Selling doesn't decided to sue you. Bad spelling aside, I suspect that there will be absolutely zero negative consequences for the person who sold you the kit. Mobile broadband is a huge moneyspinner for companies - one of the items they make the highest profit off. I can't speak for Carphone Warehouse, but in some other companies, salespeople are heavily pushed to sell this. While mis-selling may not be an approved policy, the sales person will likely get a pat on the back for selling a mobile broadband contract. Versus a talking to for not ticking enough boxes if they don't.0

I got mis-sold to by a store manager for carphone warehouse a few years back. Took my phone back within the cancellation period and had hell trying to get them to take it back, with them going out the back 'to phone Orange for authorisation', etc. Eventually I gave up and popped into an Orange shop who called Orange in front of me and relayed to me that Orange wouldn't have any issues with me returning the phone. Went back to CPW an the saga continued until I picked up a leaflet from the counter in front of me, which said CPW would happily take back a phone within 14 days. Waved this at the woman and after another trip out the back apparently 'Orange' had changed their minds.0

Still, at least they're not Miss Spelling - that would be annoying.0
