The PPI claim continues...

Hi all
im in the claim process with lloyds.Stage 1 was in effect and i recieved my letter stating the claim was under investigation and a reply would take 8 weeks.I recently got a second letter telling me that the person dealing with my request was "not in a position to complete a final response.And he/she expects to provide me with a full response shortly." No time scale is mentioned so im wondering if this is genuine or just a delay tactic.Im ready to set stage 2 in motion so do i wait for this full response or get the ball rolling with my nxt letter?

Hello there
This is generally basic of Lloyds TSB.
Hopefully though the next letter is the decision and a good one.
Fingers crossed.

They have mellowed since the news in the media where these have also been mentioned, so with a bit of luck yours will be resolved directly through them, then there would be no need to take it to the FOS.
