Possible to not view the windows clock display?

(on bottom right hand corner - next to start up icons) their is a clock is this possible to remove from displaying from that corner?. I still want the clock running in the background from Windows 2000. :confused:

    1. Right-click an empty area of the Taskbar and choose "Properties".

    2. When the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Taskbar" tab.

    3. Underneath "Notification area", uncheck "Show the clock".

    4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
