Hi all,
Pretty new to MSE Forums, but been a regular browser of MSE for many years now!
I'm looking to get a rented place with my girlfriend (both currently living at home with parents) wondered if there's any less obvious things we need to consider when viewing properties? and any specific questions we should be asking?

Have a read of the Tenant's Guide to Renting sticky at the top of this board.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=937335RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
