Suggestions for cheapest Multi Regional DVD player

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone can help me as This site helped out the last time.

I'm looking for the cheapest multi regional DVD player as DVD gone and trying to replace. Due to this site I was able to get a multi regional player (compacks) for £11.00 @ Amazon this is no longer available. having looked the cheapest multi regional DVD player is coming out at £29.00 which considering the previous price is very expensive.

Help please as I do not have a lot of money.

Check out places like Aldi and Lidl, they normally have cheap multi region DVD players.

Funnily enough I used to have the Compacks player you are referring to, great little DVD player too never failed me once (have a look on eBay in case anyone is selling one second hand!).

I can't help with a direct item, but Richer Sounds do sell many good quality DVD players and recorders which are multi-region, but not the many cheap brands...

Do you already have a Region 2 DVD Player? Sometimes it's possible to find an unlocking code to unlock it for multi-region use... If you do have one, just try a few searches for 'DVD Player Make + Model + region unlock code'

i assume your other cheapo DVD has packed up , which is what another Cheapo player is likely to do after not to long . it's a false economy IMO .

you can pick up 2nd hand / ex stock players from class leading brands for bargain prices now Blu ray has come along . also advise a trip to richer sounds or hunting around on ebay .

Above cost me £750 new 6 years ago . i did however swap it for a Arcam 88+ a few days later due to space ( cost a extra £100 quid on top as well ) . guess what it is still spinning disks as good as the day i got home six years ago and i use it a lot.

they may be old but they will be light years better than a £29 player from Amazon, and they were built to last .
