I. thinking of buying a tandem cycle...

so my wife and i can get out and about together. Apart from the obvious problem of looking a bit geeky is there anything that i reallly need to know about buying a tandem? had a quick look on the web and there seems to be a massive price range. So would i treat it as if i was buying one long bike (!) or is there other things i should be looking out for?

Any tips would be appreciated here

thanks for any guidance

If you go on the front make sure your wife is pedalling.

    Same with bikes.

I'd go into a proper bike shop and ask advice there. Beware of the cheap end of the range. Last weeks Watchdog was all about cheap bikes.
