Manchester Piccadilly place to eat?

Hi.

Looking for a recommendation for a place to eat in Manchester (as close to Piccadilly train station as possible - ie, within walking distance). Nothing too pricey.

What price range exactly?

There are a few nice restaurants in that area that may have dining deals on at the moment...2 courses for £x etc.

Mal Maison hotel
City Inn
Abode

Then near Piccadilly Gardens you have Barbaritos which is cheap mexican, pizza express....

I was also looking for cheap food places (kid friendly) either near Piccadilly, or the MEN arena

Theres a few wetherspoons in piccadilly gardens.

BHS and Debenhams are close by and they both have resturants.

Are there lots of eating places about the MEN area ?
