If you're journey has lots of corners, maybe not being able to carry as much speed through them means you have to decelerate and then accelerate more, using more fuel.0 -

Journey is a daily commute 62 mile round trip. My driving style hasn't changed. MPG used to hit 60 on the 55mph section - now the most I have is 55mpg.
I've bee doing this trip for years and can notice a difference between mpg in wet and dry, hot and cold, wind direction, number of muppets on the road etc.
Even factoring in all the above - These tyres are ment to save fuel but they aren't!
I haven't noticed any difference in grip between the two tyres. I even tried a little test on a particularly wet day but the tyres held firm.
I've got a 140bhp diesel.0
