  • You could buy and sell on ebay, or perhaps become a childminder.

  • Various direct selling companies let you use a BFPO address, e.g. Phoenix and Usborne. Check out their websites.

Just a word of warning about using your BFPO address, you're not actually allowed to for Ebay and suchlike. It's fine (though still not allowed!) if you stagger parcels etc but if a Jobsworth postie notices you're sending loads of parcels to different addresses they might refuse to post them - it happened to me and I lost loads of money through having to use German post, which is very expensive.

There are a few groups on Facebook for buying/selling in the BFG area. If you search BFG buy, sell and swap it you'll be able to find the sub-groups for each section. Hopefully you'll sell in your area so therefore won't have to pay Paypal fees and posting to/from BFPO addresses costs pennies rather than pounds.

    There's also ufish4it - again buying/selling within BFG.

Advertise in Sixth Sense - it's free!

Advertise what you want to sell on the noticeboard in the NAAFI, again free.

    Hope that helps!

Another one is animal sitting. On BFG pets on FB there are several people wanting somebody to look after their animals over the Xmas leave period.
