msn stopped working..

on my dell desktop... with windows xp .. aol 9 ... adaware ..spybot .. zone alarm...ewido..avast... all run daily .......

all of a sudden i can't get access to msn , it's telling me zone alarm isn't happy about it.

i've tried looking at / disabling zonealarm but i still can't sort it.

Any ideas ?

    look under the section for program control , you should have a green tick against all sections for "Access" and "Server" , if not then follow the instructions ther to allow the program access

    It's not necessary to download the pdf User Guide. If you open Zone Alarm and click on the :question: Help in the top right corner, the same User Guide will be displayed on screen.

    My kids use msn and it packed up recently. If your using a wireless router make sure the MTU value is set correctly for aol. I think it should be 1400 or 1440, I can't remember off hand exactly but someone out there will know

    browntoa ., been on zonealarm and boxes for msn now ticked .. still doesn't work .

    any other ideas ??

    My sons MSN stopped recently - simply the PC time and date were wrong !
