never had a SORN document

I know this may sound weird but I've had a classic car in my drive-way for quite a while and I registered it as SORN. thing is I've never had any paperwork since from DVLA :( When the new V5 forms came out last year I sent off my old registration document to replace it but never heard any more :( would it still be registered in my name ? what should I do? any suggestions ? I'm only asking because I want to sell it on (even though it breaks my heart to do so :()

Check your tax/Sorn status here. Seems the link times out, so click home, then vehicle enquiry.
Depending on the result, you may have to ring DVLA, I have called them in the past and they seem pretty friendly and helpful
