never had a SORN document

I know this may sound weird but I've had a classic car in my drive-way for quite a while and I registered it as SORN. thing is I've never had any paperwork since from DVLA When the new V5 forms came out last year I sent off my old registration document to replace it but never heard any more would it still be registered in my name ? what should I do? any suggestions ? I'm only asking because I want to sell it on (even though it breaks my heart to do so )

sorry cant edit the title to this thread (been trying lots of different ways) I meant never had a new V5 form and annual road tax form

Check your tax/Sorn status here. Seems the link times out, so click home, then vehicle enquiry.
Depending on the result, you may have to ring DVLA, I have called them in the past and they seem pretty friendly and helpful
