Just so you can all stop trying - it's official.... I'm the best mum in the world:D. Why? Because I let the children have four straws in their drink at tea-time! You'd have thought I'd given them the best gift ever. There is method in my madness - that's eight straws decluttered to the bin once they're finished but I've earnt brownie points :rotfl:
Boddy - it says the lego can take up to 28 days to arrive, I'm stupidly excited about it:o. Just think.....12 stocking fillers. I'm going to put one of them from you.....that'll be amusing when he tries to work out who you are on Christmas day morning! I hope you enjoy your reflexology - the best way to find someone is through recommendation.
Flying:
- tea decluttered
- 8 straws decluttered
- washing dried for 10 minutes and hung up
- bedding put in dryer
- towels folded for work
- 2000 word assignment currently standing at 2290 down from 2600 so getting there.
Right, I'm off to declutter another 100 words of this assignment.
Hope you're ok Tootles and LL and not tiring yourselves out. Big squidgy hugs coming your way. Tootles - stripes wants to know if she can come and visit her auntie tootles....she doesn't think you'll tell her off trying to eat tonight's pasta before it was cooked!

DS2's IEP review was.. interesting..
I was not the only parent to suggest staff are not aware of the childs issues and that they should be..
I also suggested a uniform resale for outgrown stuff which may help some families
I also highlighted the lack of correlation between DS2's effort grades and his predicted grades.. if he is working as hard as he can and still not achieving his targets then he is either not receiving an appropriate level of help OR the targets are beyond his ability which is demoralising and needs addressing..
Uniform resales are a great idea - we have them at our local schools and they are much appreciated.
As to rest - DS has an IEP and I have many of the same issues. It is so frustrating that all the relevant information isn't passed on. And trying to get more frequent IEP reviews or changing it to be more achieveable and positive can seem like an impossibility at times. I know you don't do hugs so have a  instead.
Moam
Who wants to do some cooking & ironing but has a race track through both areas thanks to DS. So may do some Amazon listing instead!Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Make up turned into an almighty chuck out session - no one should own make up this old ... I took the pad thing out of a powder compact, and it fell apart - disintegrated in my hand  New make up time I think
I kinda had the same thing last night when doing shoes, I have most of my shoes still in their shoe boxes with a photo stuck on the front so I can see whats in them, last night when clearing them out there was a pair of shoes which I loved black high suede heel flip flop fringy thingsthat were full of blue mould . Even I cannot believe I put them away when wet, must have been at least 3 years since I wore them. Normally after a night out, my clothes that I have on start in the hall and usually my knickers and bra end up near the top of the stairs, I start stripping off as soon as I get in so as not to wake up DH when falling over trying to get stuff off!! Just had my dinner so about to start flying within the next 10-15 mins :j

TOOTS I hope you have noticed I have been avoiding your ironing challenge studiously:p:p:p:p:p
hellsbells - that sounds promising - it would be a great idea to have the house as up to date as possible before you start then you can concentrate on your course.
carlsberggal hello honeybunch - nice to see you getting stars - and joing the challenge WTG:T
pigpen hope you get DS2 sorted out with his IEP thingy assessment. and uniform shop is a great idea -the school where my nieces and nephew go have one the week before a term goes back and my SiL is in there - its too expensive to keep buying new when they outgrow stuff so quickly
mudders well done with the assignment - I am sure you will get it trimmed to size - of course soppy floppy happy hoppy spotty dotty potty poppy puppy dog can come and visit her auntie tootles - at least i will feed her:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: as you obviously are not or she wouldnt be pinching your dinner!!! you had better not be bad to my lovely spotty poppy!!! Hi not read thread at all sorry, so hugs to everyone
Had a brilliantly productive day. Kids off school sick again, DS being a typical man and is about to keel over, DD just being quiet and sweet. DH at home having played his stupd game online all night again and had a lie in. So no school runs to do which has been really nice!!
Not following list but have done this lot:
- put away 2 loads dry washing
- WM on
- WM emptied and hung up
- DW loaded and put on
- DW emptied
- DW on cleaning cycle
- DW loaded with today's bits
- repacked exploding recycling boxes ready for tomorrow
- sorted out 2 lever arch files of 5 years worth of nursery feedback sheets for kids:eek: Have kept the uncrumpled stuff for them to do drawing on, they now have about 500 sheets of paper :T
- sorted a box of jigsaws and box of Uni stuff (graduated 1992 :rolleyes:) to go in loft
- went to Asda
- put shopping away
- printed out address labels for Christmas cards (sorry but its nearly mid November so I am declaring it ok to mention!) Writing cards when babysitting tomorrow night :T
- 10 min declutter of hotspot in kitchen
- phoned Egg to renew credit card - they refused  maybe for the best. Losers.
Phew! Done LOADS:D:D:D
Tonight I want to:
- cancel Egg direct debit
- bit of home accounts
- make a lasagne for tomorrow as there's some bolognaise sauce needs using up
- do some ironing while DH baths kids
- attack some sewing/taking in/up and get my sewing pile emptied SO fed up of looking at it
- if there's any time left I will wrap Mum and Dad's presents as Mum is over in a couple of weeks (and its her birthday anyway) so she can take all their Xmas presents back and save me the postage :T
The declutterig done today all part of my grand plan to empty and move the broken bureau in the front room to be replaced with nice coffee table liberated from playroom, and then to make space in shelving upstairs for stuff from the bureau.Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)
