  • Well got some more ironing done, then got phone call from FE college. Very information chat. Will make enquires into the Pttls course (one starts January) Then talk to my friend who manages a residential home about A1 (trner/assessor) as need candidates to assess and be attached to that training establishment. Sure it will be worth it all in the end:T Back to more ironing. Want to get the house as decluttered as possible before I start any courses.:money:
The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:

I HAVE A LEVEL HALL FLOOR....... THANK YOU UNCLE STEPTOE!!!!!!!

I have been so desperate to get that done for 4.5 years and now it is safe to come through my front door and you won't think you are liable to wall through the floor!! :D:D:D

    DS2's IEP review was.. interesting..

We are working on getting him a lappy to do his work on.. he has an alphasmart thing currently but the school say it isn't good enough.. fingers crossed.
I was not the only parent to suggest staff are not aware of the childs issues and that they should be.. :D
I also suggested a uniform resale for outgrown stuff which may help some families
I also highlighted the lack of correlation between DS2's effort grades and his predicted grades.. if he is working as hard as he can and still not achieving his targets then he is either not receiving an appropriate level of help OR the targets are beyond his ability which is demoralising and needs addressing..

I have 5 shoeboxes to send in tomorrow too... I forgot to take them today so I shall get them bagged in a second.
