Jo - I'm with you on this one! DH's shirts are non-iron from M&S, and DD and I tend to wear fine-knit or sweatshirt stuff. Her school uniform is crease-resistant.

The only things I iron are

    * silk blouses (but I don't wear them often)
    * upholstery stuff like cushion covers after I've washed them
    * things I'm sewing or altering
    * iron-in lettering labels for schoolwear

Otherwise I shake from the wash, hang carefully, dry and go!

Wet & miserable here again today.....for all of you on FB ;) you will know I spent a lot of yesterday watching my "The Killers...Live at The Royal Albert Hall" DVD.....I was there when it was recorded...so re-lived every minute....may have to watch it again today if it carries on raining :o;):D think choccybix & 3tabbys would probably agree :p

Had a very motivated week last week with the housework, and still feeling motiviated today. Very unusual :D Altho saying that, I've still done nothing today except sit on this computer  (not literally)

Had something nice in the post at the weekend. No Lady-L my fellow Brandon-ette, not my killers dvd (I'm still waiting....) No, I got a letter from my mortgage lender saying my 3yr tie-in has now finished and from next month my repayments will be halved :T:T:T The other half I'll be throwing at my cc to get that paid off

Right, anyone up for a HHC at 12.00? Else I'll be sat here all day, looking out for Mrs Postwoman to see if she's got my killers dvd today

OK... I will... as long as I have someone else to blame if things go wrong I'm fine :p Thanks for making the decision for me... I don't know why I always find it so hard to decide what to wear... even when I have a limited choice! (I only have one pair of shoes to go with my suit... 4 inch heels, so it's going to be an interesting day as I won't be able to take them off until 7.30 at the earliest )

Keep up the good work everyone :T:T:T

  • OK - have had another cuppa and am now fit to go again. Have finished off the curries during my tea-break, so no excuses now: on with the kitchen clean!

Hope to be back by 1:10pm - it'll take me an hour, I reckon. So I'll be joining in with you, Choccybix.
