Well done rose! If you haven't been anywhere, the phone will be in the flat, so you'll just have to systematically work your way through from one end to the other ... tidying as you go, naturallyrosepink1984 wrote: »This morning I went out first thing and got my meds, as I have to have them at breakfast time. I was very brave and while my prescription was being made up I walked up to the cash point and checked my bank balance, and then went and got a top up voucher for my phone, as I spent the weekend trying to top my mob up but their system was playing up. V frustrating. Then last night I lost my mobile, and can't find it still. Have looked everywhere! And can't ring it to find it cos it's turned itself off. Where is it????
Now... am I brave enough to wear red tights with my suit (black dress, black shoes, pinstripe jacket) or is that just attention seeking?

Bit late, got sidetracked looking for phone - BUT, I've found it! Yay! Had fallen down behind chest of drawers.

OK... I will... as long as I have someone else to blame if things go wrong I'm fine
Thanks for making the decision for me... I don't know why I always find it so hard to decide what to wear... even when I have a limited choice! (I only have one pair of shoes to go with my suit... 4 inch heels, so it's going to be an interesting day as I won't be able to take them off until 7.30 at the earliest )
Keep up the good work everyone :T:T:T0 -
Hi Sammiell
HHCook stretched to 1HC in the end, but I have:
* Made chicken stock & got the chicken stripped off the carcass
* Made 2 loaves of bread and set them to prove
* Made a veggie balti-style curry with the left-over veggies & some chick-peas
* Half-made a pumpkin and chicken Thai-style coconut curry (just need to add the liquids once the pumpkin has cooked a little)
Plus I've cleared up the packets of flour & salt etc; and got the counters almost clear; and have checked the fridge and thrown anything wrinkled into one or other of the curries.
Nearly ready to start another blitz - but need a cuppa first and omigosh it's nearly noon!

Jo - I'm with you on this one! DH's shirts are non-iron from M&S, and DD and I tend to wear fine-knit or sweatshirt stuff. Her school uniform is crease-resistant.
The only things I iron are
* silk blouses (but I don't wear them often)
* upholstery stuff like cushion covers after I've washed them
* things I'm sewing or altering
* iron-in lettering labels for schoolwear
Otherwise I shake from the wash, hang carefully, dry and go!

In my HHC I:
Cleared DR table hotspot
Cleaned oven
Washed, dried, put away washing up
Cleaned microwave
Wiped down WM
Mopped kitchen floor
Vacuumed DR/LR
Made myself a cuppa
Love keeping the oven clean - 1st time I did it took an hour, now it takes minutes to scrub the glass, sides and bottom of inside :j Love being able to see the food through the glass without having to open the door:rotfl:
How did you get on Wilf?
