Cyprus Airways- ?Military discount

Due back from afghan on r&r at Chrimbo and plan to take the family to Cyprus 26-31 Dec for a winter hol before my return. Does anyone know if Cyprus airways do forces discount, cheapest I have had it quoted is £222.80. each. Any help/advice appreciated. All other airlines including cheesy jet are a lot more expensive.

Package holiday season is nearly over, so probably no flights available and those that are will be expensive.

I would try a last minute self catering holiday with allocation on arrival, arrive at the accomodation and then ditch the accomodation. Meeting back up on the departure date for the free trip back to the uk.

Can you not return back to the uk.? I know its an extra 10hrs, but could be worth it..

You might find that single flights are cheaper than returns as it's cheaper to fly into Cyprus than fly back to UK. What about indulgence flights?

Doubt it on indulgence. My niece had to come back from Cyprus for med reasons. Coming back to UK was no prob as that was classed as med-evac. Returning to Cyprus however was classed as indulgence and it took over a week to get a flight.

what about flights for forces (http://www.forcesflights.com/login.php?fdPage=/index.php)? Jet 2 often have good deals as well. We came with olympic and they were very reasonable. Don't forces financial do deals too?
