    Safety is relative. A lot of UK institutions are unlikely to go under. Some are more safe than others.

    The crux is if it all goes to rats, then you WILL only be covered for £50k per. So it's up to you. Safe? Relatively. ;)

    I wouldn't, personally. Why take the risk? There are so many accounts out there you have no need to put all your eggs in one basket
  • I wouldnt either, but as I have said in other threads, its up to each persons individual attitude to risk. I need to sleep at night and am a real worrier. Worried myself silly over Bradford and Bingley a couple of years ago OK came good but the crystal ball would have been handy. Things are still very delicate I feel
