Forgive me if this has cropped up before but I haven't been able to read every word!
A couple of months ago we got rid of NTL digital TV and bought a settop box. I rang NTL only to be told I had to give a month's notice(typical of me not to read the small print!). Anyway, there I was expecting the direct debit to be reduced to £10.50 for the phone rental. I noticed that last month no direct debit was taken out of our account. I still have broadband by the way and a bill for calls made which is a separate direct debit but I still thought I'd be paying separately for the line rental.
I rang NTL and was told that I'd only be paying for my calls and the broadband now as the phone rental was included in the broadband.
I know I'm a bit slow but does that mean I've been paying twice for my line rental since I had broadband installed? All the blurb says that your line rental is included in your digital TV pack! I'm confused.
Should I be claiming that they've charged me double all this time?
