Hoover Optima Washing Machine problems

I have one of these and I hate it!
It keeps coming up with error 3 because the water isn't pumping out properly, meaning I often have to run the wash again. Now it's coming up with Error 16 - this isn't even mentioned in the trouble shooting information, can anyone enlighten me?

Thank you - couldn't find Error 16 on there but apparently it's the heating element blown. Not bad seeing as I usually do 30 degree washes and the machine is only 7 months old.0
