Virus? Google search not going where it should

Hi,

When I search on google and the results come up, when I go to click through I end up with other pages.

I conclude I must have a virus and / or malware.

I have ran Malwarebytes Anti Malware via a quick scan follow ed the instrustions and it now shows no problems.

I am running Avira Anti Virus which now shows no viruses.

I have ran Hijack this and here is the log:

Please help

Thanks

You really should do a deep cleanse (full scan) with malwarebytyes, not just a quick scan. Did you download the .exe file onto your pc?

I had something similar when I had the antiviruspro 2009 trojan a while back - a real pig of a trojan but I cleared it with help from here

  • Cant comment on the log above, have you cleared the cache in your browser?

Also try running c cleaner (https://www.ccleaner.com) as that may pick something else up.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the replies.

Busenbust - I did a quick scan, then a full scan. Cleared all 9 infections and now a full scan states no infections.

Inmypocketnottheirs - Cleared cache, but not ran cccleaner - Will do so.

spmc - will have a look over there.

    Thanks
