compensation on rail when using oyster
I have an oyster card which I top up with a montly zone 1-3 travel card every month.
As I work in different areas sometimes I need to use the tube as well as the train so have opted for using the oyster card (convenience of use and it's what TFL want's everyone to use anyway).
My query is when claiming compensation for cancelled or delayed trains on First Capital Connect and South Eastern will they accept my oyster card number or will I have to send them my original tube receipt?
I think it's all very confusing when using these different buisnesses and having to make a claim when I originally purchased the ticket from some where else.
I just hope the compensation procedure is not as beaurocratic.
Thanks

I wanted to post the links to the respective rail company websites' compensation pages, but as a new user (having just read the forums), I can't!
