            Honestly if saw one of them attached to a house for sale I think twice about buying
 that house0

 its not a 'porch'
 the 'ultimate glazing' is sheets of plastic
 the frame looks like its just plastic
 the door dosnt seem to have any lock at all
 the quotes youve had for porches from double-glazing firms are for a much better product, they would have a metal structural frame, double-glazing, locakble door etc
 have you checked with your local planning office if your allowed a porch on the front of your house, & if so, whats allowed?0
